

Mary Kate Bailey

CIES Supervisor - MassAbility
Mary Kate Bailey joined CRC-V in 2024 as an Employment and Transition Specialist. Ms. Bailey
graduated from Springfield College with a master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation
Counseling and she has a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Worcester State University.
Ms. Bailey has over 18 years of experience in case management, working in Long-Term
Disability. Throughout her tenure, she managed disability group claims to resolution and
implemented appropriate interventions to support a successful return to work.
In her role with CRC-V, Ms. Bailey manages a caseload and works with adults with disabilities to
identify and create appropriate vocational goals, identify necessary skills for growth, obtain and
maintain employment and counsel individuals through vocational barriers and the job search
process. In August 2025 she began her role as a CIES program supervisor with CRC-V. While
continuing to manage a caseload of her own, Ms. Bailey also oversees program development
and implementation, staff mentorship, and leads initiatives that enhance service delivery and
success of adults referred by MassAbility.
Ms. Bailey also works with MassAbility and services transition aged youth throughout high
schools in Western Massachusetts. She collaborates with special education teachers, vocational
counselors and other school personnel to identify students who would benefit from Pre-
Employment Transition Services and vocational training. Workshops are provided to address
identified needs related to Job Exploration, Work Readiness Training, Self-Advocacy and Post-
Secondary Education training. Through this program and with high school personnel, Ms. Bailey
identifies eligible students and provides community internship experiences.
Ms. Bailey maintains active membership in Chi Sigma Lota, the International Association of
Rehabilitation Professionals and the American Counseling Association and was involved in the
New England Claims Association.
Ms. Bailey is dedicated to continuous growth and remains focused on assisting individuals
overcome challenges.
